Saint Luke’s Day School is a “magical” place where children play, grow and learn. The teachers and staff are so dedicated and loving; they always go above and beyond to create a warm and happy environment with dynamic play and out-of-the-box learning experiences. SLDS celebrates each child’s gifts and differences allowing them to excel and grow with confidence. In addition to the normal day activities, SLDS offers unique enrichment activities throughout the year such as gymnastics, ‘Introduction to STEAM’, cooking class, soccer and ‘Kids on Stage’ which my daughter has absolutely loved. We could not be more grateful for our daughter’s years at SLDS. It is a truly special preschool in the Alexandria Fort Hunt area.

We have absolutely loved St. Lukes Day School! Our son was in the Giraffe and Monkey classes and has had great experiences in both. We appreciate all of the wonderful activities the teachers do with the students and loved that they sent pictures every day of their activities. The main office keeps families updated with newsletters detailing all of the activities. The teachers and director create an wholesome, engaging, and interactive environment that is great for children.

I came to St Lukes by recommendation from a friend who now has high school aged children. She boasted that “it is the best!” and years after her children came through, I agree- it still is the best! The teachers and staff have been warm, friendly, and everyone is always so welcoming; it is no wonder families continue to spread the word about this special place. The kids have loved their animal classrooms and we are often surprised by everything they are learning and what they are able to come home and share with us. When we moved to Virginia, finding a preschool was a top priority and we are so happy that we ended up at St Lukes!
